- Main Applicant: Must be a Singapore Citizen (SC)
- Co-Applicant: Must be a Singapore Citizen (SC) or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR)
- Age: At least 21 years old (or 35 years old if applying under the Joint Singles Scheme)
Family Neucleus
You must form a valid family nucleus under one of the following schemes:
- Public Scheme: You + Spouse + Children (if any)
- Fiancé/Fiancée Scheme: You + Your future spouse.
- Orphans Scheme: You + Siblings (Parents deceased)
- Joint Singles Scheme: You + up to 3 other singles (All must be SCs, unmarried, and at least 35 years old)
Income Ceiling
The combined gross monthly household income must not exceed $16,000.
- Note: This includes basic salary plus fixed allowances. Variable income (e.g., commissions/bonuses) is typically calculated with a 30% haircut based on the 12-month average
Property Ownership Restrictions
Private Property: You and your co-applicants must not own any private property (local or overseas) currently or within the last 30 months
HDB Ownership:
- If you currently own an HDB flat, you must have fulfilled the Minimum Occupation Period (MOP) of 5 years
